Daylight Saving Time starts this weekend! Our clocks officially ‘spring forward’ by one hour at 2:00am on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
So, if you move all your clocks ahead by one hour when you go to bed on Saturday night, you’ll be good-to-go for Sunday (and all the way through to November).
Although these days a lot of clocks change themselves. I know in my house it’s only things like watches (yes, I still wear a watch), the stove, the microwave and a couple of wall clocks that I have to change manually. Gone are the days of having to find the owners manual for the VCR to figure out how to change that thing! Maybe you just left yours blinking 12:00 back in the day anyway…
This is the more difficult time change for most people to deal with too… This is the one where we lose an hour of sleep — that’s never fun. So try and go to bed an hour earlier on Saturday or sleep-in an hour later on Sunday!
Also, did you notice it’s just “Daylight Saving Time”? It’s not plural, it’s “Saving” not “Savings”…🤓 Have a great weekend!
