I’ve seen many bears in the wild, but thankfully never quite that close — and never while skiing! Aren’t bears supposed to be hibernating during ski season? 🤔
My closest encounter with a “wild” animal is probably with a squirrel when I was a kid… I was pretty young and was sitting at the picnic table while out camping with my family. I was having lunch and eating my peanut butter sandwich when a squirrel jumped up on the table and took a bite out of the other end of the very same sandwich that I was eating! I think I jumped and yelled a bit, so that scared the little rodent off so all he managed to get was that one bite.
