There’s so many classic Christmas and holiday movies, and as we get closer to the big day, how do you choose which movies to watch?
And if you make the decision to watch a (gasp) new Christmas movie, what happens if it’s a dud?? What a waste of time you could’ve used to watch a classic! I gotta say, I think there’s way more bad Christmas movies than any other genre. This month we watched a few movies that would definitely make it onto the Do Not Watch Again list…If you come across a movie called “Elfette Saves Christmas” and you make it further than 8 minutes in, you’re able to do more than I was.
But then there’s the classics, that you gotta watch every year! Elf, Christmas Vacation, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Love Actually, Home Alone, A Christmas Story, and the list goes on! If you need some ideas for “new to you but much loved” Christmas films, here’s a great list!
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are full of holiday movie watching in my house, and I can’t wait to keep that tradition going this year. Since we’re all going to be staying home for the holidays, think of all the movies you’ll be able to watch while you’re dealing with your turkey coma.
Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas!
