I was so sad when The Killers decided to delay the release of their new album because of Covid-19 – Imploding the Mirage was supposed to be out on May 29th, but got delayed! For months now, we didn’t know what was happening with it or when it was coming out. All we knew was that it was there, ready to be come out, and that all the tracks they were releasing were SO GOOD!
And now, finally, we’ve got a new release date! Brandon Flowers revealed that the follow-up to 2017’s album Wonderful Wonderful, will be coming our way on August 21! So we’ve got one month to wait until we can blare the new full album – it’s very exciting! This news comes as the band released a music video for My Own Soul’s Warning, the latest song to come from the album, following the previously released Caution and Fire & Bone.
They also announced that they’ve rescheduled their postponed UK and Irish tour dates for next spring – fingers crossed that they can make good on those dates!
