NANAIMO — A man has been arrested and charged following allegations he tried to open a home’s window while committing an indecent act.
The BC Prosecution Service approved charges of indecent act in a public place and break and entering with intent against 52-year-old David Robert Hope in relation to an incident on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 16.
Nanaimo RCMP reported in a news release that Hope, who’s from Duncan, tried to open an exterior window at a south Nanaimo home.
Hope remains in custody and has a court appearance scheduled for Thursday, Oct 23, in Nanaimo.
NanaimoNewsNOW is attempting to discern if Nanaimo RCMP believe there is a link between this incident and other prowler incidents in Nanaimo.
