NANAIMO — A single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle is expected to delay traffic in both directions in Cedar, just off Hwy. 1.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Cedar Rd. and Fielding Rd. around 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, in response to what Nanaimo RCMP describe as a “very traumatic injury”.
The north entrance to Cedar Rd. is will be closed from the turn off Hwy 1 in both directions, and an air ambulance has been called in to assist.
There’s no word on when the section of Cedar Rd. will reopen at this time.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
