NANAIMO — Police are looking for a man who used a knife to rob a south Nanaimo liquor store.
RCMP say a man with his face partially covered entered the University Liquor store at 520 Fifth St. around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, and jumped over the counter with a knife in his hand demanding money from the till.
The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and took off.
RCMP attended the scene a short time later but were unable to locate the suspect with the help of Police Dog Services.
The suspect is described as 5’10” with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie, dark-coloured toque, and khaki pants with grey socks covering his hands.
