NANAIMO — Another local school is back on Island Health’s radar.
Three exposure events at NDSS from Monday, March 29 through Wednesday, March 31 were confirmed in an evening tweet from SD68 on April 2.
Island Health is working through contact tracing efforts.
It comes one day after Wellington secondary confirmed the second set of exposure events on Monday and Tuesday after students returned from spring break.
A spike in cases through the school system is expected after students broke for two weeks of spring break in March.
The Vancouver Island COVID Rapid Response team continues to head up efforts in dealing with COVID-19 exposures throughout Island Health schools.
The team is centred out of SD68.
