PARKSVILLE – Oceanside RCMP are looking for a man believed to be responsible for several late night crimes in Nanoose Bay, including a daring residential break-in and truck theft.
An Oceanside RCMP news release states three complaints were made of people waking up on Oct. 20 to being victimized in the Dolphin/Schooner Cove Drive area of Nanoose Bay.
Police say the calls ranged from theft from vehicle, trespassing and break and enter to a home resulting in the theft of a truck.
The final reported incident saw the suspect entered a truck and used the garage door opener to enter the home and steal truck keys and a wallet.
Oceanside Mounties state the suspect then used a credit card to fuel the truck at a gas station, leading to a pair of surveillance photos.
The public is asked to be on the lookout for a grey 2018 Ford F150 with a ROUSH after market package.
The BC licence plate when stolen was PN2 06E, however police note the plate may have been changed by the suspect.
