NANAIMO – A suspicious fire has destroyed a local second hand store.
Fire Rescue were called to Previously Enjoyed-Quality Used on Townsite Rd. in the early morning hours of Tuesday Sept. 15.
Crews broke into the front window and back door of the business to fight the aggressive fire, which they had under control within two hours.
The fire did not spread to neighbouring businesses but officials believe it to be intentionally set.
Police collected surveillance footage and noted a male and female walking towards the front door at the time of the fire.
The are working to identify these people as part of the investigation.
