NANAIMO — Police believe a man who has failed to comply with release conditions could be on the mid-Island.
Thirty-nine-year-old Clint Aaron Jeremy Billy was released on parole on March 24 after serving a portion of a two-year federal sentence for weapons and robbery charges.
Part of Billy’s release conditions were for him to reside in a Victoria residence, however, he has failed to show up at the property.
“Although Billy does not have confirmed connections to Nanaimo, police have received information indicating he may be in the area,” an RCMP release noted.
Billy is described as being 6’0″ tall, around 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Mounties note he has a sleeve tattoo on his left arm depicting Japanese demons.
Anyone with information regarding Billy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345, or their local RCMP detachment if outside Nanaimo.
Billy’s provincial criminal history dates back to the mid 2000s and includes multiple charges of assault, robbery, break and enter, and weapons offences primarily throughout the Lower Mainland.
