NANAIMO — Gabriola Island RCMP arrested a local man, who was subsequently charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
Paul James Dick, 63, has been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
A BC RCMP news release stated the investigation against Dick began late in 2024 and that he’s accused of trafficking methamphetamine within the Gabriola Island community.
The investigation was a joint operation between the Gabriola RCMP and the Island District RCMP General Investigation Section.
The BC Prosecution Service approved the charge against Dick in January.
He’s currently not in custody.
The BC RCMP release states Dick is scheduled to make a court appearance in Nanaimo on March 31.
