NANAIMO — Sam Boisvert just kept scoring for the Clippers with a four goal performance in an 8-4 win over Powell River.
He scored twice in the first period and tallied twice more in the second in a game that was never really in doubt.
Nanaimo led 4-1 after the opening 20 minutes and 8-3 at the second intermission break.
Other Clipper markers went to Hayden Fechner, Landon Pappas, Tanner Bruender and Charles Beland.
The Kings got goals from Jeremiah Mundy, Ryan Hedley, Josh Wiebe and Erik Wittwer.
Nanaimo held a 51-36 shot advantage with goaltender Matthew Hutchison getting the win.
On special teams the Clippers finished 3/5 on the man advantage and 3/4 killing penalties.
Several players added to their impressive stat lines recently as Fechner’s goal was his 20th of the season, Bruender raised his point streak to 12 and his goal scoring streak to five games, and Beland scored in his third straight contest.
Nanaimo has a record of 6-0-1 in their last seven games and are 5-0 against the Kings this season.
The Clippers now hit the road for a Family Day game on Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. in Vernon.
