NANOOSE BAY — One person died following a collision on Hwy. 19 near Northwest Bay Rd.
The incident was reported to Oceanside RCMP on Friday, Jan 3 at 7 a.m. and involved a pedestrian being hit by a passing vehicle.
A preliminary statement from the Oceanside RCMP detachment confirmed the fatality, however no further information regarding the incident are available at this time.
Traffic is currently delayed with single-lane alternating movement in place in both directions.
