EARLIER — A multi-vehicle crash is causing significant disruptions impacting northbound vehicular flow on Highway 19 on Friday afternoon.
DriveBC cameras show the incident happened at the intersection of Northwest Bay Rd. At the Petro Canada service station, resulting in single-lane movement heading north.
As a result, there is no detour around the scene, leading to substantial backups to Lantzville as of 1:10 p.m. on Friday.
A caller to NanaimoNewsNOW indicated the crash involved two SUV’s.
