NANAIMO — A woman plans to surprise her sister with a new car following her substantial recent lotto win.
Barbara Randall won $500,000 by selecting he Extra option on the March 16 2022 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Randall plans to show up at her sister’s door recently with a set of keys for her new car.
“It’s hard to believe. I always wanted to get my sister a new vehicle to help her out,” Randall said in a BC Lottery Corp. news release.
After purchasing her ticket, Randall found out she’d won her prize on the BCLC Lotto app, stating she felt “overwhelmed” and “very happy” with the unexpected prize.
Beyond helping her sister out, Randall is looking forward to home renovations and booking a trip to the Maritimes to visit family.
