NANAIMO — The RCMP announced a teen missing for more than two weeks has been located.
Payton MacDonald, 13,”has been located, and she is safe and sound,” a news release from the RCMP stated on Friday, April 1.
News of MacDonald being located came following a widely publicized plea from the RCMP a day prior into whereabouts of the teenager.
Her father remains in custody ahead of an April 5 court appearance.
Bryn Kirk MacDonald was arrested for disobeying a court order, who was described as not being helpful in locating his daughter.
